Our disposable razors and the cartridges for our system razors are made from 99% biobased materials – sourced from by-products of other industries. In short: our material is valuable bio-waste. That’s why we’ve been awarded the highest certification by TÜV Austria – 4 stars "OK Biobased". The handle of our system razors is made of stainless steel and is so durable that it can theoretically last forever.
Lab tests conducted according to standard regulations always allow for minor tolerances. Because of this, achieving a full 100% biobased rating is technically very difficult.
Our razors, made from 99% biobased material, are just as sturdy, durable, and easy to care for as conventional plastic razors. They require no special care and are moisture-resistant. For our blades, we rely on premium Swedish steel to ensure a high-quality shave.
Whether it’s a disposable razor or the cartridges of the system razor – all our razors can be easily and sustainably disposed of in household waste. The protective caps are also made from biobased material. After your final shave, simply place the cap on the cartridge, detach it from the handle, and dispose of both together in the household waste. During the disposal process, the steel blades are separated for recycling, while the biobased material is safely, cleanly, and sustainably processed – with 99% less CO₂ and no microplastics.

Our material is officially certified to be 99% biobased, verified by TÜV Austria with the highest rating of 4 stars (EN 16640).
